I will present our recent efforts to discover and characterize nearby young stellar associations, and how we leverage them to identify new isolated planetary-mass objects (“planemos”). Because planemos are not overwhelmed by the bright light of a host star, they provide ideal laboratories for characterizing their atmospheres and clouds in detail and inform us about the diversity of gas-giant atmospheres. I will highlight our group’s work to compile and homogenize a comprehensive catalog of nearby associations and their members’ properties within the Montreal Open Clusters and Associations (MOCA) database and demonstrate how this resource can be used to search for new planemos and to identify age-calibrated exoplanets.
