Ray Jayawardhana named as President’s Senior Advisor on Science Engagement
03 May 2012UofT News reports on May 3, 2012 that Prof. Ray Jayawardhana, Canada Research Chair in Observational Astrophysics, has been named the University of Toronto President’s Senior Advisor on Science Engagement.
In this new role, Jayawardhana – or RayJay as he is widely known – will help raise awareness of the University of Toronto’s strengths in science teaching and research and facilitate U of T scientists to engage effectively with the community at large.
