Congratulations to Jennifer West, who is not just a UofT astronomer, but is also now an asteroid!

The IAU citation:

(10494) Jenniferwest = 1986 QO3 Discovery: 1986-08-29 / H. Debehogne / La Silla / 809  Jennifer West (b. 1979) earned her PhD in Astronomy at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg and joined the Dunlap Institute at the University of Toronto in 2016. She received the Dark Sky Defender Award from the International Dark Sky Association in 2011 and the RASC’s Ken Chilton Prize in 2010 for her contributions to astronomy education and outreach.
