Q1. What is the purpose of this page?
A1. This page is a list of the most frequently asked questions (hence the name FAQ) received by the instructors and TAs. Before sending us an e-mail with a question, you should check this FAQ page to see if the question has already been answered.
Q2. Where can I find help about logging in?
A2. For help with logging in see http://www.utoronto.ca/blackboard/portalhelp/Help_for_Students.htm.
Q3. Do we HAVE to attempt each quiz three times? Do you take the last mark or the best mark?
A3. We take the last attempt you submit for a quiz. Obviously this may not be your highest attempt. We do not require that you complete all three attempts so if you get a perfect quiz on your first attempt, you need not do that quiz again.
Q4. I registered late and missed the first (few) quiz(zes). Is there any way I can make those up? Will it affect my mark?
A4. If we have the quizzes properly configured, students will have access to the correct answers after the quiz expires, thus we cannot allow students to take quizzes after they expire. The good news is that we will drop your bottom three quiz marks when we determine your final quiz grade, so you can miss up to three quizzes due to computer errors, late registration, etc.

A5. Login to Blackboard. A link titled Quiz FAQ is right below the link to the weekly quizzes.
