Each CNOC2 Patch was split into four rectangles and cross-correlated with the NASA/IPAC Extragalactic Database (NED). There is some slight overlap between the rectangles, and the edges were extended a few arcsec beyond the nominal CNOC2 patch edges to ensure completeness given possible astrometric offsets.

Most of the NED sources in the CNOC2 fields can be identified, and are listed below. The exceptions are radio sources with >10" positional uncertainties; no attempt has been made to identify the optical counterparts of such sources. In addition, FIRST and NVSS radio sources are being studied by the CNOC2 group and are not listed here.
