Bio

Welcome, I am a fifth year PhD student in the department of Astronomy and Astrophysics at the University of Toronto in Professor Jo Bovy's research group. I am involved in projects in a variety of fields, including galactic dynamics, galactic archaeology, and near-field cosmology. Please check out the links to my research above, take a look at my CV, and feel free to get in touch!

I am originally from Victoria, British Columbia. In 2018 I recieved my BSc with Honours in Physics and Astronomy from the University of Victoria. During my undergraduate I performed research at both the University of Victoria in Julio Navarro's group and the NRC Herzberg Institute of Astrophysics in Doug Johnstone's group.

During my time off I love to spend time on the mountains and trails, of British Columbia. I enjoy skiing, hiking, and climbing, especially in and around Strathcona park. I also spend plenty of time during the summer at Sproat Lake. I love golf, I read historical non-fiction, I watch Star Trek, I imbibe in all types of craft beer, and take my single malts neat.
