Since 1977 I have been accumulating UBV photometry of the interesting high-latitude supergiants 89 Her (V441 Her) and HD 161796 (V814 Her) with a view to understanding their complex photometric variability. This project will continue until approximately 1999, when a synoptic study of the data will be made. Prior to 1993 the data were published annually or bi-annually (see below), but later data are as yet unpublished. Full publication will be included in the synoptic study, but meanwhile the data obtained with the Mt Hopkins automatic photoelectric telescope (APT) are provided here for the use of others. The listing will be updated as new data are obtained.
Much sparser data were obtained at the David Dunlap Observatory starting in 1977, and sporadically since then, in various photometric systems. These data can be found in the references below.
