The Canadian Network for Observational Cosmology
is an international consortium of astronomers who have carried out two
major imaging/spectroscopic surveys of distant galaxies
using the  3.6m Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope .  The results of
these surveys include a determination of galaxy cluster masses
and related cosmological parameters, the luminosity and spectral
evolution of both cluster and field galaxies, and
the clustering of field galaxies at moderate redshifts.

the observational techniques that made both of these surveys possible.

CNOC-1:  A survey of 16 rich galaxy clusters with 0.17 < z < 0.55

CNOC2:  A 1.5 square degree survey of ~6200 field galaxies with 0.1 < z < 0.7
