Emily Hu

I am a first-year Ph.D. student in the David A. Dunlap Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics at the University of Toronto. I earned my B.Sc. in astrophysics from Caltech in 2025.

I am interested in developing space-based instrumentation for the discovery of planets beyond our solar system. Along the way, I've picked up passions for mission planning & operations, stellar evolution, binary dynamics, and more.
