I'm a huge believer of astronomy as an exciting and accessible entry point to general science awareness and appreciation, and have worked in astronomy outreach throughout my time in grad school. I'm a former head of the grad student-run U of T AstroTours lecture and observing night series, and currently help with organization and marketing for the annual AstroTour Keynote Lecture. I've also created and run planetarium shows in support of the Department's Universe @ U of T outreach initiative. Most recently, I was a planetarium show designer and host for the UnitedByTheStars campaign to raise funds for the Canadian Red Cross in support of refugees coming to Canada.
