(2009) The remaining data are from Papadakis et al. (2000) unless indicated otherwise in the Notes/Remarks column where "Gru" refers to Grubissich (1958). ====================================================================== Notes on individual stars V2: According to Grubissich (1958), V2 has an alternate period of 0.262 days. V3: The double mode classification for V3 is from Clement & Nemec (1990) who derived a secondary (fundamental mode) period of 0.5419 days. V11: This star is listed in the Moscow GCVS as V979 Oph. and HV 11037. V16: The period is from Clement et al. (2001) and the magnitudes are from Papadakis et al. (2000). When Clement et al. (2001) set up the catalogue, they conducted a period search of the Papadakis et al. (2000) observations of V16 and concluded that the period should be revised from 0.4275 to 0.7480 days. They found that the revised period gave a light curve with less scatter and agreed better with the colour and amplitude of the star. ========================================================================= Discovery of the variable stars in NG 6426: V1-10 + a field variable Baade in an unpublished letter to Sawyer (1939) The numbers V1-11 were assigned and x,y coordinates were derived by Sawyer (1955). The field variable V11 is V979 Oph in the Moscow GCVS. V12-13 + 3 field variables Grubissich (1958) with x,y coordinates and an ID chart for V1-13 V14-16 Papadakis et al. (2000) with X,Y in pixels and an ID chart for V1-16 ========================================================================== References Clement, C.
