A CM diagram by Da Costa et al. (1982, ApJ 257, 633) 
indicates that the HB stars are red. 
This is confirmed in a more recent paper by Dotter et al.
(2008, AJ 136, 1407)

Rosino & Ortolani
(1985, Mem Soc Ast It, 56, 113) stated that further
observations would be required to determine if the cluster
has any variables.
