(1993) showed it to be a thick disk globular cluster. A VI CM diagram by Sarajedini et al. (2007) shows a prominent HB red clump. The data listed for V1 are from Sloan et al. (2010) who conclude that it is a carbon star, but probably a cluster member. ==================================================================== Discovery of the Variable Stars in Lynga 7 V1 Sloan et al.
