(2009) and the remaining data are from Oosterhoff (1943). All of the data for V2-V10 are from Kaluzny et al. (1997). Arellano Ferro et al. (2013) made VI observations of all of these variables and derived periods and magnitudes comparale to the values of Kaluzny et al. (1997). ====================================================================== Notes on individual stars V1: The period was derived by Oosterhoff (1943). The V magnitude and amplitude are from Arellano Ferro et. al (2013). Menzies & Whitelock (1985) have obtained JHK photometry for V1. V10: Rucinski (2000) assessed the membership status based on an Mv-logP-colour relation and concluded it was a "possible" member. ================================================================== Discovery of the variable stars in NGC 288: V1 Oosterhoff (1943) with its 1900 RA & dec, x, y coordinates and an ID chart V2 Hollingsworth & Liller (1977) with x,y coordinates and an ID chart which showed the positions of both V1 and V2 V3-7 Kaluzny (1996) with X,Y in pixels for V1-V7 V8-10 Kaluzny et al. (1997) with RA & dec (2000) and finding charts for V2-10. --------------------------------------------------------------- Arellano Ferro et al. (2013) conducted a search for additional variables, but did not find any. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Pietrukowicz et al. (2008) searched for dwarf novae in NGC 288, but did not find any. However, they pointed out that their observations covered only two nights in 2004 and seven nights in 2005. They also carried out an independent visual inspection of optical counterparts to seven X-ray sources listed by Kong et al. (2006), three of which (CX13, CX20 and CX24) were CV candidates. They did not detect brightness variations at the positions of any of these objects. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Lynch & Ransom (2011) conducted a search for pulsars, but did not find any in NGC 288. ====================================================================== References Arellano Ferro, A., Bramich, D.
