Prof. Ray Jayawardhana won Steacie Prize

Prof. Ray Jayawardhana has been named the 2009 winner of the Steacie Prize for outstanding scientific research carried out in Canada. The prize(http://www.steacieprize.ca/index_e.html) is one of Canada's most prestigious science awards, encompassing a wide range of disciplines including mathematics, engineering, chemistry, physics and biology.  Ray was recognized for his discoveries in the area of star formation.
